Canal+ victime d'un piratage informatique

Canal+ a été victime d'un piratage de données et du code source d'un nouveau logiciel de relation clients.

Dans un courrier adressé à Github (copie ci-dessous), une plateforme d'hébergement et de suivi de développements informatiques, le responsable juridique du service de la propriété industrielle du groupe Canal+, en charge de la lutte anti-piratage, explique que toutes les données et codes sources publiés dans un répertoire de Github sont confidentiels et pourraient permettre le vol de données personnelles dans leur logiciel de relation clients.

Canal+ a demandé a Github le retrait de toute urgence du code source et des données confidentielles de Kiss deploy (nom du projet de Canal+). Demande qui a été suivie d'effet puisque Github a retiré le projet de sa plateforme. Mais selon le site Torrentfreak, Canal+ aurait été victime d'un pirate utilisant le pseudonyme "hooperp" qui aurait pénétré l'un des serveur du groupe et dérobé le code et les données du projet Kiss Deploy. Ni la nature, ni la quantité de données dérobées n'ont été communiquée par Canal+.
